Our payment provider, Stripe, may set its own cookies on its checkout page to process the payment and prevent fraud.
Advertising cookies
Some content pages, such as our guides, FAQ and the information sections of the home page, may show ads from Google AdSense. When they do, Google and its partners may set or read cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure results and, where you allow it, personalise ads based on your visits to other websites.
Google explains this on its page about how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and lists its cookies in its cookie information.
We never show ads on the application form, payment, tracking, contact or policy pages.
Your choices
- Consent message. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choice before personalised ads are used.
- Privacy choices. The Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page reopens that message on pages where ads are shown, so you can change your answer.
- Google ad settings. Turn ad personalisation off in My Ad Center.
- Other ad companies. Opt out of many at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.eu.
- Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the website, such as payment, from working.
